Ask the support chat
What the support chat can answer, what it sees about your account and your role, and how to reach a person.
Click Need help? in the bottom corner of any page to open the support chat. Type a question and it answers from this help center, usually in a few seconds. It's an AI, so when it isn't sure, it says so and offers to pass your question to a person.
The chat knows which page you're on. It opens by asking if you need a hand with that page, with a button, Explain this page, and the help articles for it. Ask "how does this work?" and it answers for the page you're on; ask about anything else and it answers that.
We're switching the chat on one business at a time. If you don't see Need help?, it isn't on for your business yet, so email support@getblythe.com instead. See Get help.
When you ask how to do something, the answer links to the page where you do it, such as Scam check, the Profile rescue kit, the Photos or Booking and order links sections of your Listing page, or Staff review stats in Analytics. Ask whether something is down and it links our status page.
What it sees about your account
So it can answer questions like "why haven't any new reviews come in?", the chat gets a short summary of your account each time you ask:
- whether Google, Facebook and texting are connected and working
- review requests that didn't go out in the last 7 days, as counts and reasons
- your plan, and whether you're on a trial, paused or cancelling
- setup steps you haven't finished
- whether reply autopilot is on
- who's asking: the owner, a manager or staff, and on Group, whether you have every location and which permissions the owner switched on or off for you
When something needs fixing and you can fix it, the answer links to the page that does, for example Reconnect Google or Billing. When it's something you can't change, it tells you who can instead, such as the owner or a manager with every location. If the owner limited you to some locations, the request counts cover only yours.
The summary never includes your customers' names, numbers, email addresses or messages, the text of your reviews, or your locations' names.
What it can't do
The chat can't change anything for you. It can't reconnect Google, change your plan, refund a charge or send a request. Use the page it links to, or click Send to a person under the answer, then Send to support, and a person will reply to the email on your account. You can also email support@getblythe.com.
If a connection breaks, you don't have to ask: we check every hour and email you a fix link. See When a connection stops working.
