Find a setting

How the Settings page is laid out, how to search it, and what "Crew and up" next to a setting means.

Everything you can change lives on Settings, and every setting starts with a default that works without you touching it.

The Settings page

The top of the page links to the areas with their own page: Reply voice, Team, Review requests, How we ask, Integrations, Website widget, Locations, Import a list, Your data and Activity. It also shows your business type.

Below that, All settings lists every option in sections: Review requests, Replies, Notifications, Listings & social, Website widget and Getting started. Each one says what it does.

Type in the search box at the top of All settings, for example "email", "pause texts" or "mailing address". Only the matching settings stay on screen.

Who can change what

  • Owners and managers change the business's settings.
  • Notifications are personal. Each owner and manager sets their own alerts, and staff don't get alerts. See Choose your alerts.
  • Staff can see settings but not change them.
  • While your account is read-only, after a trial ends without a plan, nothing can be changed.

"Crew and up"

A setting that comes with a bigger plan stays on the page with a label like Crew and up, so you can see what's there. To use it, see Plans and billing.

Things that aren't settings

Some rules can't be turned off, because they're the law or a review site's rules: asking every customer the same way, texting only with consent and within texting hours, never asking for Yelp reviews, and 1 to 3 star replies always waiting for you. See How we ask for reviews.

Every change is recorded in Activity.
